The Eagle Group Journey: Built on Innovation and Integrity

The Eagle Group includes three Michigan-based manufacturing companies working together to deliver high-quality metal castings and precision-machined parts. As a U.S.-based manufacturing team, we provide integrated support from initial design through final inspection, offering our customers reliable products, short lead times, and responsive service.

A Manufacturing Company History Rooted in Collaboration

1979

The Founding of Eagle Alloy

Eagle Alloy was founded by Mark Fazakerley (an engineer) and Wayne Jarvis (a metallurgist) to meet the demand for short-run steel and stainless steel castings. John Workman soon joined the leadership team, and together, they built Eagle Alloy into a medium-to-high-volume steel foundry known for its responsive service and high-quality shell molding capabilities.

From the start, Eagle Alloy embraced innovation. The company was among the first in the U.S. to use landfill methane gas as an energy source and adopted solidification simulation to improve casting outcomes. It also implemented Lean Manufacturing techniques that cut average lead times from four weeks to just four days in most cases.

Today, Eagle Alloy is recognized nationally for its contributions to sustainability, quality, and customer satisfaction. We’ve received awards from the American Foundry Society, Michigan Manufacturers Association, John Deere, Caterpillar, and others.

1991

Expanding into Investment Casting with Eagle Precision

Seeing a need for more intricate, near-net-shape castings, the founders established Eagle Precision Cast Parts in 1991. Located on the same campus as Eagle Alloy, Eagle Precision brought investment casting into the fold with a focus on responsiveness, quality, and complex geometries.

From its first customer—a military antenna manufacturer with weekly production needs—Eagle Precision has grown to produce over 1,000 active part numbers across multiple industries. Expansions in 2012 and 2015 grew the facility to 67,500 square feet, including more than 17,000 square feet of climate-controlled manufacturing space for process consistency.

Eagle Precision’s continued success reflects the company’s adaptability and investment in people.

1999

Vertical Integration Through Eagle CNC Technologies

As customer demand for turnkey solutions increased, the Eagle Group launched Eagle CNC Technologies in 1999. The facility was purpose-built to machine castings from Eagle Alloy and Eagle Precision. In 2007, Eagle CNC merged with Westech Corporation, a respected local machining firm founded in 1984 by Bill Seyferth. This move added deep expertise in automated turning and milling work and greatly expanded CNC capacity.

Eagle CNC now operates as the machining arm of the Eagle Group, delivering high-tolerance parts through automated inspection, custom tooling, and real-time production data. In 2023, Eagle Alloy completed the full acquisition of Eagle CNC, strengthening vertical integration across the group and creating new opportunities for collaborative growth.

Growth, Responsibility, and Recognition

Over the years, the Eagle Group has remained focused on quality and integrity. Our companies have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, ITAR registration, and compliance with RoHS and REACH standards. We’ve earned supplier excellence awards from major OEMs and were early adopters of sustainable manufacturing practices.

We’re also committed to giving back. The Eagle Group supports over 40 nonprofit organizations through direct donations and employee volunteerism.

Employees share in profits through a monthly profit-sharing program and are building ownership through an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). We are proud to be one of the largest private employers in greater Muskegon and continue to build a strong future for our employees, customers, and community.
